Covid 19 Response
To our valued students and jam members,
At Music @ Green Gables, the safety of our music community is our highest priority. We are closely watching the reports and news releases from Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Public Health Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Education. With this in mind, we have implemented the following until further notice:
Jam sessions are on a hybrid of in-person (with optional masking) and on Zoom. Please contact Len (len@musicatgreengables.com) if you would like to join our jams.
Classes and workshops are in person with options for Zoom for some classes/workshops.
For in-person classes and workshops:
We ask everyone (including ourselves) to wear a mask and practice safe physical distancing.
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who has had Covid within the past 2 weeks.
The number of participants in the classes, workshops and jam sessions will be limited to reflect the social distance requirements.
We have enhanced our cleaning practices to conform with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and Public Health Ontario Covid-19 guidelines.
The music room will be cleaned and sanitized daily. Highly-touched items, such as door knobs and Orff instruments will be cleaned after each class or workshop.
Two grade HEPA air purifiers clean the air every 30 minutes.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unsual times.
Please note that things could all change on a moment's notice if Covid numbers rise.
Covered xylophone easy to clean. Covered ukuleles are harder to play.
